Our lobbies will open again to the public on Wednesday, May 6th

As the State of Utah has moved into the orange risk level from the Governor, we are going to re-open our lobbies to the public with some extra precautions and procedures.

  • In order to monitor how many people we have in the branch at one time, it’s best to make an appointment to visit a branch, especially to meet with a loan officer.
  • We are asking that members coming into the branch wear a face covering.
  • Please practice social distancing while in the branch, as much as possible.
  • As a precaution, our public restrooms will not be open until further notice.
  • If you are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, please stay home.

Our staff is working hard to keep the branches clean with extra sanitation procedures, and we have hand sanitizer available throughout the branch.

3.12.2020 –
We want to reassure you and the community that Ascent Credit Union is doing its part as COVID-19 cases continue.

We are closely monitoring Center for Disease Control (CDC), state, and local health departments for the latest developments and recommendations. We are tracking the virus and using this information in ongoing discussions to best protect you and ensure you will have continued access to your finances. With any new developments, as more information is made available, plans may change. We pledge to keep you in the loop, listen to your concerns, and share what we plan on doing.

Moving forward, we will be taking appropriate action based on guidelines provided by the CDC. Our branches are stocked up on hand soap and when needed, hand sanitizer. We will use bleach- or alcohol-based wipes on surfaces frequently touched. Staff will wash their hands frequently. We have a task force dedicated to business continuity to make sure you have access to your finances. Lastly, we are reaching out to our critical service providers to ensure services will be available to members.

As we take these actions, you play a role as well during this time. Based on guidelines given by the CDC, wash your hands thoroughly and often, avoid close contact with sick people, cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, don’t touch your face, and stay home if you’re feeling sick. Just as important as these steps, we caution against panicking. In addition to dampening your immune system, too much stress can interfere with our abilities to practice good sense. Be careful by being informed and prepared. Online banking, our Help Center, and our drive through lanes are available options to all members.

We are optimistic that we as a community will successfully ride this out. We are still learning about COVID-19 and as more health professionals learn more, they will provide us with better advice and care. We will continue to evaluate new steps to make this less disruptive and will be compassionate to those who are affected.
